People should learn from the feedback and not whine about it.

People are so touchy on ebay. It is a sin to leave negative feedback. I bought some nice moisturizer and when I got it in a timely manner I found that the expiration date stated it was expired. I did not go directly to the ebay feedback site but sent off an email to the buyer stating my disappointment. The buyer went on to say that it did say that the cream had expired but was still good. I still had the ad on my computer and sent her a copy of it. Nowhere in the ad did it say anything about expiration. The title read New In Box. The email I got back was very snippy. So of course I went to the feedback and left a statement about the expiration. I got email from the seller and ebay asking me to go to the site for ebay negative feedback removal and change my rating. I sent ebay a copy of the ad and told them I wasn't going to change my feedback. Ebay agreed with me. I am glad I saved a copy of the listing because I otherwise it would have been the seller's word against mine. The seller did go through and change the other listings to say expired. I thought feedback was something people could learn from. I shouldn't have to be bothered by the seller to have the feedback removed.
